Ummm....Why is Russia selling nukes to Venezuela and Iran while we destroy ours? "We're ready to start drawing up the first plan of a nuclear power plant, obviously with peaceful aims," Chavez said. (Aprl 2, 2010) So now that we have disabled ours in Turkey and there isn't much doubt now that Iran has bomb grade nukes we pretty much gave up our power in that area of the world. And uh... if Venezuela has nukes soon I guess they will be as capable as us in South America. In South America you don't need a lot of nukes and they don't have to fly very far to be uber powerful.
Most important why are we cool with Venezuela building a nuclear power plant when we were told they were too rough on the environment to build nuclear power plants ourselves. Why did we just take a big step back from being a world power? Why isn't anyone talking about it?
Do I have this right? We are signing a treaty with Russia so that we both reduce our nuclear arsenel. The only stipulation is that Russia gets to sell theirs to a country awfully close to to the USA.

Just a little worried here in the heartland
I am not sure why Obama is still out trying to sell his health care plan. It is already law. Is anyone else worried about what is coming if he is still selling it? Could it be that it is a terribly expensive plan to give Government more power? It's beginning to get exposed for what it is and Obama is trying to get in front of the soon coming complete rejection of the American people? Why all the rumblings about the USA becoming a socialist country? Actually I am not worried at all about what is coming, I know what is coming and I hate it.
From the Heritage Foundation:
The President’s health care law is only eight days old, and already it has cost our economy billions of dollars. Late last week, AT&T alone took a $1 billion charge because of the impact of the bill, and the consulting firm Towers Watson told the Wall Street Journal that the total hit this year will reach nearly $14 billion. It is sad, given the present state of our economy, that the President’s party in Congress has reacted not by trying to find ways to spare the jobs that will be lost because of this law. Instead, they are trying to intimidate companies that take such charges with threats that they will be hauled in before the Energy and Commerce Committee.

Oh no Obama didn't go there! (Click here for headlines)
Headlines: Obama Urges Congress to Act Quickly on Financial Reform
This is coming from the guy that is ramming health care down our throats. The spending on it is so out of control they didn't even send the complete package to the Congressional Budget Office to be analyzed. This is coming from the guy that tripled the debt that dead beat Bush left us.
Obama says we need to free up financial markets. Really? His banking policies have made banks pucker up with commercial loans. Has anyone noticed the construction industry is dying a slow painful death? Government take overs of the auto industry, banking industry and insurance industry are not helping. A political war with Toyota isn't helping. There is no way this is a genuine charge to congress.

There is not much use in posting for a while.
Our country is going to become even more socialist. Just wait until you see what health care brings. I no longer think that America will do the right thing. Health Care looks like it will pass on Sunday. This little measly blog is a waste of time for now.

Congress is an Embarrassment
Next week congress will use a reconciliation rule (cheaters) to move forward with the next step of turning this nation socialist. This new health care plan is so crooked that even bribes couldn't get the job done for Obama and crew, so they changed the rules on how many votes they needed to pass it. Their justification is that the reconciliation rule has been used before including the Bush tax cuts. I thought they hated Bush, that he was nothing more than a stupid cowboy. I thought this was the administration of change and transparency.
We are so screwed.
We are so screwed.

See ya Pelosi

Nancy Pelosi says that although unpopular, lawmakers should focus on ramming through health care instead of job creation. They still haven't figured out that jobs provide health care. San Francisco, please get rid of this bat! However, that would mean the private sector is more of a solution than the government. And they don't want that. I know there are people who are disabled and need assistance. Let's deal with those who are truly less forunate not the lazy people, not the illegals and not the whole nation! America lost something like 450,000 jobs recently surely with a good portion of those jobs went health care. Let's get the corruption out of health care, provide meaningful jobs and let's do it now!

This says it all

I really thought Obama would have learned that the USA does NOT want to go where he wants to take this country. Actually it isn't that he hasn't learned, it is that he doesn't care what we want. If the heated healthcare debate causing democrat congressmen to retire and the Massachusetts election doesn't teach him anything, he really doesn't care. I really thought he was going to move more towards the center of the political spectrum this year being an election year. Instead he has doubled down by proposing a budget that will have an adverse effect on this country for generations. He will leave democrat congress road kill behind him as he continues to try and ram his agenda down our throats. Nothing will distract Obama from his push to move this country towards socialism. His legacy, his comrades, his party.... all carnage.
